Rebalance: Settling Into the Turn

Sonic Meditations are generally experienced while lying on the floor but some people prefer zero gravity chairs. All comfort gear is available - yoga mats, eye masks, blankets for pillows and a few knee bolsters. A few zero gravity chairs are available but these must be requested in advance of the event to be sure there are enough on hand. Participants may bring their own comfort gear including chairs.

Participants introduce themselves and set an intention describing what they want to get out of the session (better sleep, relaxation, release of old unhelpful behaviors, greater sense of belonging, more community, etc. Facilitator guides participants into a receptive state with a short guided meditation then plays a series of tones using various instruments like crystal bowls, tuning forks, drums, rattles, rain sticks etc. for about 40-45 minutes before leaving participants in stillness and quiet for a few minutes.
